How we work
We publish one thing well: the answer to a specific, recurring friction in an Indian home, office or gifting situation.
How a pick is made
- Find the friction. We mine low-star reviews and complaints for problems that repeat across brands — not product opinions, problems.
- Name the failure mode. Every pick must explain mechanically why the thing you already own fails. If we cannot name the failure mode, we do not publish.
- Check the price band. We publish a stated band per vertical. If the price moves outside the band, the pick is pulled or re-priced, never silently kept.
- Write the verdict. At most three sentences, plus a mandatory caveat naming who should not buy it.
- Human review. Every pick is read by a person before it goes live. The model drafts; the editor disposes. We say so on every page: Drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human editor.
- Say what we did not do. We do not claim to have tested a product we have not bought, and we do not publish retailer star ratings.
What we will not do
- No 'best products of 2026' listicles.
- No coupon or deal-of-the-day pages.
- No verdicts we have not tested ourselves or backed with evidence.
- No paid placement, ever.
- No retailer prices on the page. The retailer page is the only place a live price appears.
- No price comparison across marketplaces.
